Minas Diacakis is a graduate of Southbank University, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and Cranfield University with a Masters Degree in Energy Systems & Thermal Process and a Ph.D. in Performance and Diagnostics of Fuel Cells and Gas Turbine cycles.
Before joining American Bureau of Shipping – ABS, he spent twenty years in a diverse number of positions of energy related projects as an engineer and sustainability consultant.
Since December 2022 he has been a member of ABS’s Global Ship System Centre as a Senior Engineer, involved in ammonia, hydrogen, wind and nuclear technology associated projects with further engagement in risk analysis of novel technologies for the maritime industry.
