CEO AT WORLD MARITIME ACADEMY ΚΑΙ STAMKON
Dr. Katerina Konsta is the CEO of the World Maritime Academy and STAMKON.
Katerina has more than 20 years of international experience in training, in shipping and logistics, both students and business executives. He has created shipping departments and schools for colleges and universities and partnerships between organizations. Her writing experience includes distance learning books, journal papers and conference papers. She has served as a reviewer for the Maritime Policy & Management Journal and is currently a reviewer for the Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering and an Examiner for the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers in London.

Η Κατερίνα απέκτησε το διδακτορικό της από το Πανεπιστήμιο του Plymouth, με τίτλο «Ναυτιλιακή Πολιτική και Η Επιτυχία των Εθνών: Η περίπτωση της Ελληνικής Ναυτιλίας». Είναι πτυχιούχος Ναυτιλιακών Επιχειρήσεων και Ναυτικού Δικαίου από το Πανεπιστήμιο του Plymouth, στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο. Σπούδασε Business & Finance στο North Hertfordshire College, στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο. Οι μεταπτυχιακές της σπουδές περιλαμβάνουν: Διεθνή Ναυτιλία στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Πλύμουθ (Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο) και Ναυτιλιακές Σπουδές με Διεθνείς Μεταφορές στο Πανεπιστήμιο Πειραιώς (Ελλάδα). Katerina is a member of the Women's International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA) and served as a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of WISTA International, a member of the International Maritime Lecturers' Association (IMLA), the Association of Greek Women Scientists, LeanIn and the Chios Maritime Club. She is an Ambassador for the University of Plymouth and Head of the maritime alumni organization PYNDA.
