PRESIDENT AT HELLENIC SHIP FINANCIERS UNION
Ο κ. Γιώργος Ξηραδάκης γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1964 και μεγάλωσε στον Βόλο. Αποφοίτησε την ΑΕΝ Ασπροπύργου και εργάστηκε σε ελληνικά πλοία. Απόκτησε Diploma in Commercial Operations – City of London Polytechnic και MSc in Maritime Studies- University of Wales. Εργάστηκε στην Credit Lyonnais τόσο στην Αθήνα όσο και στο Παρίσι ως Ανώτατο στέλεχος ναυτιλιακών χρηματοδοτήσεων. Το 1999 ίδρυσε την εταιρεία XRTC η οποία ενεργεί ως εμπορικός εκπρόσωπος ξένων τραπεζών στην Ελληνική Ναυτιλία. Από το 2010 η XRTC είναι σύμβουλος της China Development Bank ενώ ο κ. Ξηραδάκης έχει ανακηρυχθεί μέλος της επιτροπής εξειδικευμένων συμβούλων της ίδιας Τράπεζας.
Mr. Xiradakis is an appointed Shipping Specialist at the UK Department for International Trade (gov. uk/dit). He is President of the Association of Banking and Finance Executives of the European Union, Vice President of the Hellenic-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Honorary Member and Special Advisor of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Honorary President of the Propeller Club-Piraeus, Member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Honorary President of the Propeller Club-Piraeus, Member of the Board of Directors of the International Propeller Club of the USA, member of the Board of Directors of the Piraeus Shipping Club, member of the Mediterranean Committee of the Chinese Classification Society (CCS), the Maritime Museum of Greece, etc. In May 2019 he participated in the European elections as a candidate for the European Parliament.
