Dimos Bouloukos was born in Athens on February 28, 1969. He studied economics and began his career in journalism in 1989, covering sports for MEGA Channel, the first private television station in Greece. Since then, he has worked continuously across a wide range of media outlets, including the legendary magazine Plefsi. He has covered major international sporting events worldwide, among them seven Olympic Games (from Sydney 2000 through Paris 2024). He is currently Chief Editor of the Sports Department at MEGA and Communications Director of the Hellenic Olympic Committee, while also collaborating with the leading sports website SPORT24. From a young age, he developed a passion for sailing and earned his offshore sailing license at the then Nautical Club of Athens, which was later incorporated into the Nautical Club of Greece.
