PROJECTS DIRECTOR GOLDEN YACHTS
George Chairakakis is a naval mechanical engineer and has been involved in construction since a young age, with accuracy and innovation as his guiding principles. In 2004, he joined the Golden Yachts family with a vision to revive new shipbuilding in Greece.
With meticulousness, persistence, and continuous integration of knowledge and experience, he has led the construction of 12 new vessels and 3 significant yacht refits, contributing decisively to Golden Yachts' establishment as a pioneer in the superyacht field and enhancing the international outreach of the Greek shipbuilding industry.
Mr. Chairakakis is present daily at the shipyards, focusing on quality, the integration of new technologies, and the ethical education of all partners and specialties.
After 22 years of operation, he expresses his satisfaction with being surrounded by one of the most capable teams in the industry. With an eye on the future, he believes that "the next generation of Greek shipbuilding will combine tradition with innovation, setting the standards of tomorrow.
