George Panagopoulos has worked as a lawyer in Australia, England and Greece. He practices as an attorney in Greece, admitted to the Supreme Court of Greece.
He is an experienced maritime lawyer dealing with a wide variety of yachting, shipping and commercial matters. His office, Law Office Panagopoulos, deals with a variety of international shipping and yachting matters, representing various Greek shipowners, financiers and parties in the Yachting industry. He assisted with the establishment of the Hellenic Yacht Masters’ Club in 2022, with which he maintains a close relationship.
George completed a Bachelor of Civil Law and Doctorate in Philosophy at the University of Oxford in in the field of Private International Law and he is the author of numerous publications.
He is a member of the Yacht Club of Greece and a supporting member of the London Maritime Arbitrators’ Association.
